General contest entry #3: Winter Gardener
In preparation for the winter growing season, I set off for Coerthas dressed in fox hides and spun wool to keep warm.
Once at the observatory I was directed back behind the buildings to find their best kept secret. The gardens!
I took a moment to calm myself before jumping in to learn their technique.
The locals kindly showed me how to mulch and fertilize cold hardy crops, to keep the harvest strong all winter long.
As I practiced, I also made sure to bask in the glory of a winter garden.
After working so hard I took a break and watched for a bit.
Finally, I warmed myself by the fire at the end of the day. My brain was full of plans for gardening and growing more things!
