Feel your Miqote's outfit just isn't getting the attention it so clearly deserves? Your Lalafell is obviously the best dressed around but you haven't been lavished with praise and prizes? Maybe your Roegadyn is too sexy for their shirt/pants/shoes/all of the above and you need more people to see perfection? Can your Hyur pull off a near perfect FF8 cosplay and the world needs to know? Or does Legolas have nothing on your Elezen and you're ready to stun everybody?

Post screenshots of your best looking stuff! Glamour it, dye it, get a haircut! Retainer pictures are cool too! You're encouraged to write about your outfit, as this is a popularity contest after all!

Submit your pictures in this thread before June 18th! Voting will start after that and last until June 25th.

Deadline is June 18th, 11:59PM PDT.

    PRIZES!
  • Rank 1: Tonberry Minion! Cute knife wielding psychopath! Or Tidal Barding, humiliate your chicken! (1 winner)
  • Rank 2: Materia! 1 tier IV materia of your choice OR 2 grade 3. (2 winners)
  • Rank 3: Clothing! HQ! 1 piece of any Vanya, Taffeta, Spring Dress/Skirt, Light Steel, or Glacial outfit! (3 winners)
  • Participation Prize: 10 HQ 2 star food of your choice, omnomnom.

    Gil Prizes!
You get these in addition to the above!
  • Rank 1: 34% Raised Gil (1 winner)
  • Rank 2: 18% Raised Gil (2 winners)
  • Rank 3: 10% Raised Gil (3 winners)

"% Raised Gil", what? We're raising money through treasure hunts! We typically raise 300k-400k in pure gil alone from a normal weekly treasure hunt run, plus another 5k gil per map on average in shards.

So if we do 20 maps a week for 3 weeks and get terrible gil drops and only get 270,720 gil per week (that's all minimum gil drop and less maps than we typically do a week), we'd still have 812,160 gil + 300,000 gil in shards, so 1,112,160 gil! Rank 1 would get 378,134 gil, rank 2 would get 200,189 each, and rank 3 111,216 each! Items that drop from maps are going to be sold like normal, but they're going to help offset the cost of the item prizes.

Donate piesteskin maps! Do treasure hunts with us! Mail maps to Kismar, Mekaire, Midori, or Serket! If we get so many maps we don't know what to do, we can sell excess maps. Don't forget that donated maps gets you lot points for contended items on official FC events. So does participating in treasure hunts!

Gil from Tuesday map runs: 1,082,060

    Rules:
  • Anybody that can post here can enter until voting starts (Morning of June 18th). Doesn't matter when you joined OE.
  • Officers are exempt from rank 1-3 prizes. v'-')v
  • Multiple entries allowed, but try not to go too crazy with submissions. Maybe 5 different outfits?
  • Multiple screenshots of the same outfit are fine, just don't go nuts and post 20 pictures.
  • Emotes, actions, and interesting backgrounds are encouraged. Whatever you think will win the popular vote!
  • If there is a tie, I'll make a new poll as a tiebreaker. If it ties again, officer vote.
  • Your prize is yours to do with as you will. Dye it pink and force it on a friend. Sell it. Make a shrine out of it. Anything you want!
  • You can step down the rank of your item prize if you want. Like if you don't care at all about materia but really want a dress. Gil prize will be your original rank still.

If you need some dyes made, don't be afraid to ask in FC chat. Same goes with glamour prisms or random crafted gear. If you're on PS3/PS4 and are having trouble with getting a screenshot up, feel free to ask somebody to take one for you. If nothing else, I will!

I'll get this started, first I needed to do the best meat-obsessed galactic punter in persona.

Chie!

Punching shadow's faces in. >:E

Outfit for the curious: Artisan Glasses, sailor body, acolyte legs, and militia gathering wrists because I couldn't find anything colorful. :<

While I'm cosplaying - Midori mentioned Nami from One Piece and I had to try.

It turned out surprisingly well. :o

Album of extra SerkNami pictures I uploaded: http://imgur.com/a/yFZqu#0

Outfit here is striped top, sailor pants, a ramhorn staff, and darklight casting wrists because I wanted something only on one wrist.

I went with costumes because I don't really have any special outfits, but anything goes!

I'm confused… do you want people to create a unique fashionable outfit (i.e. Lavin's sexytank, Illis's PJs, etc.) or is the goal to see who can pull off the best cosplays? I'm guessing the answer is that it doesn't really matter as long as people participate and have fun but the reason I ask is because when it comes time to vote I would like to know what criteria I am judging on.

The answer is either. The voting criteria is whichever is your favorite for any reason. I can't really stop people from voting for themselves, either.

If this turns out to be popular and I do it again, I'll have to iron out the rules more. Right now I'm mostly interested in seeing what people will come up with and what problems show up.

ah. Okay. It was kinda hard thinking up cosplay ideas for the limited equipment in this game XD

Cool, that's what I figured. Thanks for thinking up another fun activity for the FC. (^_^)

I figured out google doc polls, so I can put a better poll up than I figured I would. Multiple votes per person taking the poll is the big one.

Lavin's Entry #1

I cann this little number "battle ready sleepwear"

I think the genius of this piece is the stark minimalism. Made entirely out of light, breathable linen and mild sheep leather, this ensemble is as soft and comfortable as it is durable. The night cap comes with an adjustable sleep mask that is perfect for both filtering out irritating lights while one tries to sleep as well as keeping sweat and blood out of one's eyes in the heat of battle!

The pale, pastel lavender blue tinting is just bright enough to contrast with the natural black of the leather while remaining soft enough to not give your hiding place away for more roguish type combatants.
